Each time that a student contributes positively to class, uses a vocabulary word or grammar point correctly in an exceptional manner, actively tries to use French, shows improvement or extra effort, they will receive euros.
A student can also obtain Euros by winning games in class and bringing in materials from outside of class that relate to France or the French-speaking world.
Periodically, we have a class auction where students have chance to bid for various prizes and spend their Euros. The photo shows a class auction set-up. There are prices for each item; however, if two students want the same item, then they must outbid each other to obtain it!
